An Evening With Miss New York

I was honored to have been asked my good friend Ronnie Kroell to be a part of this wonderful event as a Host Committee Member, and also to be the photographer for the evening. Miss New York, Claire Buffie is an amazing woman who has quickly gained the respect and admiration of many in the LGBTQA community, as well as many others. She is going to make a phenomenal Miss America!!

I am very excited and can not wait to raise some money for two excellent causes, the Miss New York Organization and The Children’s Miracle Network.

Will you join us this Friday November 12, 2010?

The rumors are true, Miss New York, Claire Buffie, has done the seemingly impossible – She has successfully convinced Ronnie Kroell, runner-up and fan favorite of BRAVO Network’s “Make Me a Supermodel” to go “Straight for Equality”. Claire, an outspoken ally of the LGBTQA community has teamed up with Ronnie to present “An Evening with Miss New York”, a fund-raiser to benefit the Miss New York Organization and The Children’s Miracle Network.

Please join us on Friday November 12th, 2010 from 6:30-9:30PM at La Pomme Nightclub for networking, amazing food, and outstanding entertainment. We hope that you will add your voice to our conversation about the importance of breaking the silence and preserving equality and justice for ALL. Together we can build bridges between our diverse communities and focus on all the things that unite us as human beings – together we can make a difference.

“It has truly been my honor to open and lead conversations about equality, fairness, respect and the freedom to love and be loved. This is not about us vs. them; it is about WE – as human beings. This battle is not one of gay rights; it is about human rights. In fact, it is not even about rights, it is about equality. Bullying has become an epidemic that has plagued our schools and is spreading wildly over the Internet and mobile technology. It has to stop. The more visible we all are in schools, in sports, on television, in office and in the pews, together, we are literally saving lives” Claire Buffie, Miss New York

“The American Community has a friend, a role-model, and a true leader in Miss New York, Claire Buffie. Imagine what it would be like to have a Miss America that truly was a champion of ‘equality for ALL’. Claire Buffie has the grace, tenacity, and integrity worthy of the crown in January 2011 – I am honored to call her a friend.”Ronnie Kroell, King of Heart
