This poem is from one of my older books, I wrote in 1996
(the year before I graduated) shhhhh!
Lumps of Clay
Lumps of Clay.
Nude Sculptures.
Michelangelo’s Poetry,
Magnificent David.
Holding silt.
Clay, Grey.
Sculpting you from memory.
Your outter shell,
pleasantly brick.
A mimic of you,
In my palm.
I hate the way,
you turned out all wrong!
I am going to put you back in water.
